In the month of January, insurance stocks dominated the BFSI sector performance in the US markets.
Insurance stocks accounted for seven out of top 10 performing BFSI stocks in January. But only three
out of these seven stocks were able to deliver double digit price returns for the month of January.
All of the three top performers are part of S&P 500 index and listed on NYSE. Three insurance stocks delivered biggest price gains in January for BFSI stock segment
Wr Berkley Corp,Travelers Cos Inc, and Progressive Corp were the only stocks to hit double digit price growth in January. Wr Berkley Corp (NYSE: WRB) was the top performer with 10% price gains.
